Women.Who.Write. — WHY?

“Create dangerously, for people who read dangerously. … [Write] knowing in part that no matter how trivial your words may seem, someday, somewhere, someone may risk his or her life to read them.”

—Edwidge Danticat

In my lifelong journey to become a WRITER, it has always been women who write who continued to give me the courage to write and keep on writing.  Women who came before me, women who write today, and all the women who stare down an empty page and fill it with words.

Over a year ago, I started a private Facebook group called Women.Who.Write., when I realized that I knew a slew of talented writers. I wanted to create a forum to share information, talk about  projects, vent, seek support, and ask for help.

This blog is an extension of that page. It’s a place for women to publish their work. To create dangerously, knowing that no words are trivial.

Please send us your work! Check out our ABOUT page for submission guidelines.
